Arctic Pride 2014, ”Express yourself!”This year’s Arctic Pride theme is self-expression. According to article on Valtikka.fi, ability to express yourself is as important as breathing. It evokes people’s own strengths and makes people blossom. Being a human is based on being a social and as expressing their own thoughts, feelings and experiences people become visible to themselves and others.
This is what the producers of the Arctic Pride want to highlight. That’s why this year’s theme is “Express yourself!” The festival offers different kinds of arenas for self-expression, such as parade, where to celebrate the diversity, and workshops, where to put skills into practice.
The program also includes pleasant and warm campfire night, the seminar, and parties in both nights. As a new feature the program offers Pridekino movie night, group meetings, Rainbow Mass and much more. You can find us from Facebook and follow our latest news on Twitter. See you! |
ScheduleArtic Pride is a laid-back and heartfelt celebration of the LGBT community. It offers a possibility for the LGBT community to show what it is like to be different beyond the Arctic Pole. Above all it encourages everybody to be themselves and respect the uniqueness in others.
